In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 239/2008 on transparency in the decision-making process and Law No. 100/2017 on normative acts, the Ministry of Energy submits for public consultation the draft Government Decision on amending Government Decision No. 668/2022 regarding the creation and maintenance of security stocks of natural gas.
The draft Government Decision has been developed based on Article 4 paragraph (21) and Article 108¹ paragraphs (1) and (2) of Law No. 108/2016 on natural gas, as well as for the implementation of Action No. 293 of the 2025 National Regulatory Plan, approved by Government Decision No. 841/2024.
The main objective of the draft is to establish and implement regulations that will contribute to ensuring the security of natural gas supply in the Republic of Moldova in exceptional situations in the natural gas sector.
