The Ministry of Energy announces the initiation of the drafting process for the Government Decision amending Government Decision No. 1060/2023 on the organization and functioning of the Public Institution National Center for Sustainable Energy (NCSE).
The purpose of the draft is to amend Government Decision No. 1060/2023 to bring it in line with recent changes to Law No. 139/2018 on energy efficiency, particularly with regard to enabling the NCSE to provide financial guarantees and cover interest payments on loans taken by Condominium Owners’ Associations from commercial banks in the Republic of Moldova for the financing or co-financing of energy efficiency and/or renewable energy projects.
At the same time, the amendment will consider revising the structure of the NCSE in light of the financing programs being implemented and those planned for implementation, taking into account the experience gained and challenges identified by the NCSE during the implementation of these programs.
