In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 239/2008 on transparency in the decision-making process, the Ministry of Energy announces the initiation of the drafting of the Government Decision on the repeal of certain Government Decisions.
The project will be prepared in accordance with Article 65 paragraph (1) of Law No. 100/2017 on normative acts. Repeal is a technical-legal procedure through which provisions of a normative act that no longer correspond to the balance of current social regulatory needs are rendered void. Furthermore, paragraph (2) of Article 65 of the same Law provides that repeal occurs in the following cases:
a) to annul provisions of a normative act that conflict with provisions of another act of the same or higher legal force;
b) to eliminate inconsistencies and ambiguities;
c) to remove outdated provisions from the legislation.
The project stems from the need to streamline the legal framework by repealing outdated normative acts and governmental policies, pursuant to Article 65 paragraph (1) of Law No. 100/2017 on normative acts.
